Standing Strong with Georgia's Agriculture & Farmers
Agriculture isnβt just an industry in District 157βit is our history, our way of life, and the lifeblood of our economy. From Vidalia onions to timber and poultry, the hard-working growers of Southeast Georgia feed and clothe the world.
But today, our farmers face unprecedented challenges. Rising input costs, high interest rates, unpredictable weather patterns, and federal overreach have made it increasingly difficult to keep family farms in operation across generations.
As your next State Representative, I will make sure the voices of our growers are heard loud and clear in Atlanta. We donβt need red tape; we need relief, resources, and respect.
My Commitments to District 157 Growers:
- Tax Relief on Inputs: Working to eliminate state-level sales taxes on essential farming materials, feed, fuel, and equipment.
- Protecting Water Rights: Fending off external water regulations that threaten agricultural production.
- Fostering Next-Gen Farmers: Partnering with local schools and FFA chapters to ensure young Georgians have a viable path into modern agriculture.
When our farmers succeed, Georgia succeeds. I will always stand in the gap to protect our growers.
