Position Overview
Southeastern Technical College (TCSG) is seeking a Commercial Truck Driving (CDL) Adjunct Instructor to train students in the high-demand Class A CDL program serving Appling, Evans, Jeff Davis, Tattnall, and Toombs counties.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide classroom, driving pad, and over-the-road instruction in commercial vehicle safety, pre-trip inspections, and shifting/backing maneuvers.
- Prepare adult learners for Georgia Department of Driver Services (DDS) Class A CDL licensing exams.
- Maintain accurate student attendance, safety logs, and skill evaluation rubrics.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License in good standing for a minimum of 3 consecutive years.
- Clean motor vehicle report (MVR) and current DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate.
- Prior instructional experience is a plus, but enthusiasm for mentoring local workers into high-earning transport careers is paramount.
